Rules & Conditions
1.The organisers will not hold themselves responsible for any accidents, loss or dam age to competitors, animals, vehicles or other property for any reason whatsoever.
2.Any person wishing to make a complaint, must do so on the day of the event, accompanied by a £20.oo administration fee, which will be refunded if the complaint is up held.
3.Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4.Excessive use of whips is forbidden and will result in disqualification. Whips must be of regulation length.
5.Competitors must be correctly dressed, and hard riding hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted
6.Galloping and cantering is forbidden outside the arenas.
7.The decision of the judges is final once the result sheet is signed.
8.Points awarded:- 1st- 6 ; 2nd- 5; 3rd- 4; 4th- 3; 5th- 2
9.Any objections to points awarded must be made before the end of the next show.
10.Points will be displayed from the end of the 3rd show of the season, leaving plenty of time for corrections of errors.
11.Any person thought to be excessively or unnecessarily abusing any official will be escorted off the premises.
12.Cruelty of any kind to any animal will not be tolerated, including leaving dogs in cars on a hot day.
13.All dogs must be on leads at all times.
14.Children must be supervised by an adult, and not allowed to play on or around farm equipment or produce or climb trees.
15.The name of the horse/pony must be the same all season; if the name of an animal is changed, a new set of points will be started.
16.To qualify for a chance to win a trophy at the end of the season, a horse/pony rider combination must have competed in the appropriate class on at least 4 occasions.
17.In the event of a clash in times of classes, it is the responsibility of the competitor to decide in which class to compete. Entry fees will not be refunded.
18.Stallions will only be permitted if well behaved and with a competent adult rider/handler, over 16years. The judge has the right to disqualify unruly animals.
19.The organisers and judges reserve the right to refuse an entry in the event of any unsoundness such as lameness, coughing, dangerous behaviour etc..
20.All judges are selected for their experience and professionalism, their decisions should be therefore respected.
21.Trophies will only be presented to the winner of the award at the annual presentation dance, and not to nominees.
22.Show jumping classes, with the exception of novice and novelty classes will be run according to BSJA rules.
23.Bad language will not be tolerated and will be dealt with in accordance with Rule 11 above
24.NO fires, barbeques or naked flames are allowed on the show field
